The owners are artists, and some of their art is included in the whimsical and comfortable outdoor entertaining area, which opens off of the kitchen and dining room french doors of the house. The small writing cottage is decorated with wisteria and Banksia rose, and there is a meandering woodland path that goes to a secret garden, where the owners enjoy a private spa.
