Located in the historic University district of Palo Alto,  this gorgeous older home remodel included adding saltillo tile patios and steps, colorful Moorish details and a roof mezzanine with decorative wrought iron railing.  The property already had a lovely mature Palm and Koi Pond.  We built a beautiful Monterey flagstone patio around them, added a stream and waterfall; as well as cleared out most of the old and outdated shrubs. We started over with fresh, colorful Mediterranean style gardens,  added old adobe pathways and incorporated an expansive lawn with a brick border for the kids (and dog) to play.
