Built in the 1920's, this stately Rennaissance Revival home is only 2 of it's kind, its exterior an artful use of Stone and Steel. The unique native stone used throughout was from the original Hillsborough quarry and has not been available for decades. Hence, our team harvested the unused stone from the large property itelf in order to build the new Gate Columns to match the existing stone wall, and the new Outdoor Kitchen and Pizza Oven on the 20 ft tall original stone terrace patio, to match the existing stone outdoor fireplaces. We designed the new wrought iron entry gate, as well as provided a much needed retrofit to the patio structure using steel brought in by crane. New plantings and custom lighting fixtures were carefully designed to complement the grandness and authenticity of the historic home while adding new elements of surprise. An old rose was carefully preserved on the original stone outdoor chimney, and fountains and extensive paths and steps carefully renovated.
